When it comes to raspberry leaf, many people are mistaken, thinking the tea will be sweet like the berries of the raspberry plant. However, raspberry leaf tea is just what is says, the leaves of the raspberry plant. These leaves boast many benefits, especially pertaining to the women's reproductive system. It has been deemed "The Women's Herb" for that very reason.

Raspberry Leaf tea has become a staple in my daily routine. It's full bodied taste resembles a black tea without the caffeine. When paired with nettle leaf and organic honey and lemon, it is a great morning treat.

This miracle herb can help assist the body in battling conditions like infertility, miscarriage, fibroids, postpartum depression, anemia, UTIs, thyroid disease, pancreatitis, bacterial vaginosis, PCOS, uterine polyps and HPV.

This plant is highly nourishing and a great herb to aid in the preparation for childbirth. Regular use of raspberry leaf has been shown to tone and strengthen the uterus. It has also been shown to shorten the overall time of labor when taken during the last three months of pregnancy.

How to take Raspberry Leaf

Raspberry leaf can taken in different forms. I personally like to drink it in tea form. I steep raspberry leaves in a cup of hot water for about 10 minutes. I also will let it sit in hot water overnight to create a powerfully nourishing infusion. When making an infusion, I am sure to drink the infusion the next day, after letting the tea steep over night. This allows more time for the nutrients and healing properties of the leaf to seep into the water. Raspberry leaf can also be taken in tincture form or capsules.

Drinking raspberry leaf tea during a full moon is said to enhance it's potency because the raspberry plant grows 25% more during this time. According to Anthony William's the dried leaf is still connected to these rhythm's from it's days attached to the cane.

Raspberry leaf can be purchased at your local herb shop, ordered on Amazon or your local grocery store in the tea section. Incorporate this into your daily routine and enjoy the healing benefits of this miracle plant.
