Yeast infections are something that so many women have come to me about which is why this blog post seems so necessary. It seems like almost every woman I know has suffered from a yeast infection of some sort, myself included. Many of us have even suffered from reoccurring yeast infections with no cure in sight. Since I've changed my diet and become more health conscious I proudly say that I have not suffered from a yeast infection since 3 years ago. This is a big deal because I would suffer from them like every 4-5 months. This observation caused me to dig deeper into the topic and figure out why all of a sudden this was no longer a problem for me with hopes of helping you all finally free yourselves from this annoying diagnosis.
What is Yeast?
The culprit of most yeast infections in women is a fungus called Candida. Though Candida has a bad rep it is actually present in the body to help us! I'm always stating how everything in the body has a purpose; this is true for Candida too! It's job is to eat the things that we aren't suppose to be eating. Candida robs the food from other bacteria and virus' like E.Coli, Strep, C. Diff and H. pylori. Toxins from processed foods, GMO's, wheat, corn, lard and sugar all feed bad bacteria and viruses. However, our saving grace Candida, eats it all up before the bad guys can get to it. We need a healthy balance of Candida in us, the problems arise when we have an overgrowth. We get this overgrowth from eating too much of the things that aren't good for us, making the Candida grow more and more in order to eat the large amounts of crap you're feeding yourself.

Why does it keep coming back?
If you go to the doctor to get a prescription for your yeast infection or get an over the counter medicine you will be focusing on killing the Candida. Killing Candida is counterproductive and can make you susceptible to the bad bacteria and viruses it is trying to protect you from. Once you kill Candida but don't actually change your eating habits, the Candida will keep coming back to continue trying to help your body stay protected from the bad guys by eating the junk. Instead of trying to eliminate all Candida, you should focus on BALANCING the Candida.
How do you balance Candida for good?
Since Candida feeds off of processed foods, GMO's, wheat, corn, lard and sugars it is important to decrease, limit or eliminate these things from your diet. Doing this will starve the bacteria and viruses on it's own and there will be no need for the excess Candida to be present, therefore it will balance out. It is also very helpful to incorporate foods with anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties to help protect your body so the Candida doesn't have to work over time to do so.
Supplements to incorporate into your everyday routine
Oil or Oregano: Kills bad bacteria
Probiotics: Feeds good bacteria to help fight against bad bacteria
Barley grass Juice Powder: Feeds good bacteria, cleanses liver and thyroid
Lemon Balm: Kills unnecessary fungus
B12

To conclude, the answer to curing reoccurring yeast infections is my answer for everything. EAT MORE REAL, WHOLE FOODS. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Decrease the amount of sugar you eat and incorporate quality supplements into your diet.
I hope this helps you all and changes your life. Living with yeast infections everyday is painful, annoying and embarrassing but thank the Most High because you do NOT have to live with it. You can make the change and cure yourself.
